We have very sad news to report this morning as RJ Meyer has passed away after a battle with leukemia.

Meyer discovered that he had leukemia in March, 2019 as he went in for a routine checkup. He also underwent a bone marrow transplant back in October 2019.

His health diminished since then, and he lost that battle yesterday. Lio Rush, a man who Meyer trained, tweeted out yesterday in sadness as RJ Meyer was losing his battle.

Tara Meyer announced via the “Team #BruiserStrong” Facebook page that he passed away. MCW sent out a heartfelt message upon learning the news.
