Many AEW Stars Want To Work With New Tag Team Act

AEW has a lot of exciting acts on their roster, and some of them are in high demand. Top Flight, a brother team consisting of Darius and Daunte Martin, has received a lot of attention.

Top Flight was slated to face The Young Bucks this week on Dynamite, but that match was moved to next week. Matt Jackson’s ankle should be cleared by then, and the AEW World Tag Team Champions want to face the team who remind them so much of themselves.

The Martin brothers remind the Jacksons of a younger version of the Young Bucks for a reason. The high-flying team of Darius and Daunte are 21 and 19-years-old respectively. They might be green, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that following an appearance on AEW Dark, plenty of people wanted to work with Top Flight.

They got the tryout when they sent Matt [Jackson] a video and after watching a few seconds he wanted them in. He felt the same with them as he did when he first saw Private Party. They came in for Dark and a lot of the teams were really impressed and wanted to work with them. They’re green but almost everyone is when they are this new.

We’ll have to see what the future holds for Top Flight. They have a ton of potential, and they are also very young. Not only does the team have a great name, but they are also getting noticed by the right people in All Elite Wrestling already.
