WWE must be out of the Amway Center by December, but they do not have a solid moving plan yet. There is no shortage of options as WWE continues their search.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that WWE is looking at Tropicana Field as their new home. This idea is very interesting as it would provide them with a large venue. The company is also considering other locations.

Jon Alba noted that the idea of Tropicana Field is not out of the question. One big drawback might be the number of times power went out at the park during baseball games.

It’s not impossible #WWE could run Tropicana Field (an idea @davemeltzerWON discussed), and it would give the it flexibility to run bigger events, but it’s a downgrade in terms of facility quality, and the power has gone out multiple times (!) during Rays games last couple years.

We’ll have to see what the company plans. They have their eyes set on “something different” for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, so that could be an opening to give Tropicana Park a try.
