When WWE ThunderDome Must Leave Amway Center

WWE used Orlando’s Amway Center as their home for the ThunderDome during the pandemic. It was an innovative idea with virtual fans surrounding the ring, but the ThunderDome must find a new location very soon.

The Orlando Magic need their arena back. The hope is to start the NBA season in December. That being said, PW Insider reports that the company must be out of the Amway Center by December 5th.

The company’s production team currrently needs to clear out the venue no later than 12/5 due to The Orlando Magic needing the facility as the NBA is hoping to launch their next season during that time frame.

WWE used the Amway Center for as long as they could, even extending their lease to the end of November. They cannot stay with the Orlando Magic needing the arena, so WWE has to find a new home where a pro sports team can’t kick them out.
