Karrion Kross won the NXT Title, but he didn’t hold it for very long at all. Kross was forced to relinquish his title when he suffered a separated shoulder in that match against Keith Lee. The former Killer Kross got right back in the gym as soon as he could, and he’s feeling great.

Kross updated fans via an Instagram video of him working out in the gym. He has neglected to answer any questions about his injury status, and he explained those reasons. Now he feels “absurdly stronger” than he ever has before. He isn’t cleared to return just yet, but this kind of update is certainly a great sign.

I have deliberately neglected to answer any questions about my health from fans since July 22nd for a variety of reasons. I see them everyday though. And the check in’s have been sincerely appreciated. However, Today I will answer your question. I feel absurdly stronger now than I did even before July. I have not squandered this time away. I have always been addicted to challenges and avenues of improvement since I was a small kid. And I see no point in returning if I’m not coming back even stronger than I was to begin with. See you all again when the T I M E is right. Which as you know… could be any second. Or maybe when you least expect it.

Finn Balor was injured with a broken jaw, and he hasn’t returned either. We’ll have to see what the future holds for NXT’s top title. Karrion Kross is certainly ready to get his championship back as soon as he is able to make a return.
