Paul Heyman was re-introduced to the WWE Universe as Special Counsel to the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. His on-screen role expanded, and now he apparently has a new wekly gig.

Talking Smack’s reboot was initially hosted by Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods. Following Woods’ move to RAW, Braxton’s co-hosts have shifted around. Sami Zayn was her co-host for a bit, and she dressed up like the IC Champion for Halloween to really annoy him.

During this week’s Talking Smack, Paul Heyman was the co-host and his introduction seemed to indicate that he’ll be sticking around in that role.

“Ladies and gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman and I serve as special counsel to the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. And so someone can keep Kayla on the straight and narrow, I now serve the public as your co-host of Talking Smack because Kayla, from what I can see has been talking smack just a little too much lately.”

Paul Heyman is a master talker, so this could have been a schtick. Talking Smack might continue to see revolving co-hosts with Kayla Braxton in the lead chair. If Paul Heyman is inserted into that weekly role it could certainly make for some interesting interviews.
