Marty Scurll was accused during the #SpeakingOut movement of having sex with a 16-year-old girl when he was 26. In the UK, where this act took place, 16 is the legal age of consent.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that former booker Hunter Johnson was put in Scurll’s spot to replace him in that role. Marty Scurll also no longer appears on the ROH roster.

Dan Maff was also removed from the ROH roster, and it was confirmed that he is no longer with the promotion. Marty Scurll still appears to be employed by ROH, but he’s not being used.

We previously reported that Scurll is being “iced” until they can complete an investigation, something that Sinclair Broadcasting is notoriously slow at doing.

This situation is not over for Marty Scurll and ROH, but it certainly isn’t moving along at a speedy pace. As of right now, Scurll is still employed, but he doesn’t appear to be doing anything for the company.
