WWE is leaving the Amway Center and possibly taking the ThunderDome elsewhere. There is a lot going on within the company right now, but they need to be out of the Amway Center days after Survivor Series.

Jon Alba obtained a copy of WWE’s lease agreement with the City of Orlando. It states that WWE’s contract with the Amway Center runs out on November 24th, two days following Survivor Series.

I have received the amendment to the contract between the city of Orlando and #WWE to hold the ThunderDome at Amway Center. Officially, it runs through November 24.

Right now WWE is surveying several locations for their new home. They need to find a location where a sports team won’t run them out. The Orlando Magic need the Amway Center back as their season is starting in late December.

We’ll have to see where WWE decides to move to next. They have several options, but bringing back a lot of fans right now might not be the best idea as COVID-19 numbers continue to rise.
