WWE entered into their season premiere with high expectations. Some of the production quality was not up to Vince McMahon’s standards, and there were other issues.

Ringside News has learned that there were “lots of missed camera shots and bad camera angles,” and “Vince and Kevin Dunn were unhappy” with some of the early portion of the show.

It was described as a bit of chaos in the Gorilla Position as the first hour of the show ran long. “This threw off the entire show,” we were told.

We also exclusively reported that Becky Lynch was backstage during SmackDown this week. She was happy to be back with the people she worked with for years. That had nothing to do with the production issues.
