WWE had to nix their entire touring schedule when the COVID-19 pandemic swept the planet. They didn’t miss a week, but those tapings had to remain stationary without touring. The company also saved a lot of money by doing this.

Things are opening up in Florida, and in other states, but there is a long time to go until any touring can take place again, especially like it used to. According to Wrestle Votes, there are no plans to make any kind return to a “normal” house show touring schedule until at least 2022.

I’ve been told that the typical weekly live event loop (Friday TV + house shows Sat & Sun + Monday TV) all of which in different locations, won’t return to the WWE schedule until 2022.

WWE is also remaining in the ThunderDome even longer. There are talks that the company might not leave their current location until 2021 begins, and even then there are many questions.

We’ll have to see what happens next, but there is no guarantee that WWE will be rolling through your town any time soon.
