Cody Rhodes Reclaims AEW TNT Title In Brutal Dog Collar Match

Cody Rhodes dropped the AEW TNT Title when Brodie Lee squashed him in three minutes. Rhodes returned with black hair after filming television show. Then he challenged Lee for the title he lost so quickly.

AEW Dynamite featured the company’s first-ever Dog Collar Match this week. Cody Rhodes and Brodie Lee went to war, and they both bled. John Silver also bled during the match, and he was led out early on.

Cody and Brodie each had their close calls, but Rhodes won after wrapping Lee’s head with the 16-foot steel chain and hitting a Cross Rhodes for the pin.

After the match, Cody Rhodes cut a promo about how great it is to compete in front of a live crowd. Cody said that people suggested that he change his hair, and he said “to Hell with that I’m sticking with you.”

Rhodes said he will be on AEW Dynamite next week defending his TNT Title. Then Orange Cassidy walked out to challenge Cody without having to say anything. He just gave him a thumbs up, and Cody returned one of his own.
