AEW Reveals Three More Names In #1 Contender Tournament

AEW is holding an 8-man tournament to determine a new #contender. The final match will take place at Full Gear on November 7th. They revealed three new names in that tournament this week on Dynamite.

The company previously announced Kenny Omega, Fenix, and Jungle Boy in the tournament. They added three more names to the brackets this week. That leaves two vacant spots.

Colt Cabana, Wardlow, and Hangman Page were added to the tournament this week. They have not revealed the bracketology.

Following the announcement, Kenny Omega cut a promo backstage where he said that he’s won every tournament in the world, and he continued referencing Hangman as a “tag team wrestler.” It seems that Omega and Page are destined to do battle. If it doesn’t happen during this tournament, then it’s obviously being teased for later.
