While the big players in the world of professional wrestling continue to be WWE, AEW and NJPW, with some including Impact & ROH in that list, there’s something to be said for the history that comes with the NWA.

It’s a brand that has been through a lot of highs and lows over the years, but when the Powerrr show was introduced to the world, many believed that could be the catalyst behind a real NWA revival.

The COVID-19 pandemic threw a spanner into the works but if Nick Aldis is to be believed, Powerrr isn’t dead – not by a long shot.

The old school nature of the production for NWA Powerrr really did warm the hearts of pro wrestling fans both young and old, and you’d have to imagine that trend will continue when it returns.
