WWE seemed to make it clear that Clash Of Champions will include a RAW Women’s Title match with Asuka and Zelina Vega. They didn’t confirm that match last night for a reason.

Vega slapped the taste out of Asuka’s match and declared that she’s ready for the RAW Women’s Champion. This was after Vega stepped away from managing Andrade and Angel Garza.

PW Insider reports that while it is likely to take place, Asuka vs Vega is not set in stone right now. Plans can always change in WWE, and they haven’t confirmed the match for the September 27th event yet.

The post-bout promo with Zelina Vega was, as of last night, to set up Asuka vs. Vega which will likely take place at Clash of Champions but that wasn’t 100% set in stone as of last night.

Zelina Vega hasn’t been given much of an opportunity to wrestle in WWE. Putting her against Asuka could provide some very interesting opportunities, especially if she’s booked to somehow topple the Empress Of Tomorrow at Clash Of Champions.

What do you think about Zelina Vega getting more time in the wrestling ring? Sound off in the comments below.
