WWE is using their RAW Underground setting to put some Superstars over. They shot footage that would have made 2 of the 4 Horsewomen look amazing, but then they decided against airing it.

We previously reported that Billie Kay was not actually written off television. That was obvious since she showed up the next week to face Peyton Royce. When Jessamyn Duke knocked Kay out it really gave off that impression.

According to Fightful, they shot different segments for RAW Underground that were supposed to put Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke over in a big way. They decided against airing them and instead, WWE decided to trim things down and include Billie Kay.

Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir were supposed to have showcase matches on Underground the week prior, but they were scrapped. What happened last week was scaled for time and altered to include Billie Kay.

We’ll have to see if Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir get another opportunity down the line. It appears that RAW Underground is a special place that might exist just outside of WWE’s canon while still overlapping slightly. Stay tuned.
