Deeb was previously with WWE as a Performance Center coach. She was released from the company when they needed to make cuts. WWE is now operating their training classes in a separate facility.

On the afternoon following her Dynamite debut, Serena Deeb tweeted out a huge thank you to fans and AEW. She was unable to defeat Thunder Rosa during her AEW debut, but Deeb still performed at an exceptional level against the current NXT World Heavyweight Champion.

Your support is heard, felt, and appreciated. Thank you @AEWrestling for the platform to do what I love most in the world, and thank you to all who watched and enjoyed it. Can’t wait to do it again.

We’ll have to see when Serena Deeb shows up in AEW once again. She could be an amazing addition to the roster. Not only can she still perform in the ring, but others are bound to learn from her along the way.
