Former WWE Superstar Wants To Accept Cody’s AEW TNT Title Open Challenge

Cody regularly puts his AEW TNT Title on the line in open challenges. He will defend the title against Scorpio Sky next week, but JTG wants in on the opportunity.

AEW brought in exciting names for the open challenge so far. Ricky Starks, Eddie Kingston, and Warhorse all saw big matches on Dynamite.

While appearing on Busted Open Radio, JTG got a chance to briefly address Cody. He knew the American Nightmare was listening and he wants a shot at the TNT Title.

“I know you watching. JTG, the Urban Legend, Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare, let’s make this happen. I planted the seed, let’s give the world the fruit that they want to see, that they want to taste. JTG vs. Cody Rhodes, let’s do it.”

JTG could be an interesting addition to AEW Dynamite if he brought his talents to Daily’s Place. A lot of people want in on Cody’s open challenge, but only a lucky few will get to accept the call.

Scorpio Sky has full intentions of capturing the TNT Title on Dynamite next week so those open challenges might get a new host soon enough.
