Beth Phoenix Gives Her Take On Pat McAfee’s Actions On WWE NXT

Last night, the brewing rivalry between Pat McAfee and Adam Cole was taken to the next level as McAfee got physical with the former NXT Champion by punting him in the head.

One person who had a front row view of the whole situation was none other than commentator Beth Phoenix, who hasn’t exactly been shy when it comes to getting involved in her own physical conflicts on WWE programming this year.

After the show, Phoenix gave her thoughts on the situation on social media.

The truth is, there is a lot that Pat said behind the scenes too, that I choose not to repeat. I’d heard enough. @PatMcAfeeShow was disparaging toward @AdamColePro on level that was unprofessional. Pat shaming Cole in such a way is not acceptable. Shame on you Pat. #WWENXT

Phoenix is the kind of performer that is able to switch seamlessly between performer and commentator, in a way that makes you believe she could easily make another run for the title one day.

For now, though, the focus remains on McAfee and Cole, as fans wait to see whether or not their feud will be blown off in a big time match at either TakeOver or SummerSlam.
