Opening Match Revealed For WWE RAW Next Week

WWE is going to try hard to present a fresh product to bring up viewership. They are kicking off next week’s show with a title match to hopefully encourage a big start for their three-hour broadcast.

The company revealed on their official website that Apollo Crews and MVP will battle on WWE RAW to determine who is the real United States Champion. This match will kick off RAW next week as well.

The storied prize has been clouded in controversy lately. Crews was originally set to defend the Championship against MVP at The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules, but wasn’t cleared to compete as a result of Bobby Lashley’s attack.

WWE’s stock is no longer recommended due to their slumping viewership. Hopefully a United States Title match will help get things off on the right foot.

This is also a great sign for Apollo Crews as he was out of action after testing positive for COVID-19.
