Eddie Kingston showed up on Dynamite during a TNT Title Open Challenge, and he impressed. He didn’t walk away with the TNT Title, but he eventually got something much better: a job.

Kingston cut an emotional interview following his match on AEW Dynamite. This interview was seen by thousands of fans who begged AEW to sign Kingston to a contract. During that interview, Kingston said:

“I have nothing else in this life that I love doing. So whether AEW brings me back or not, I’m going to keep going. I’m going to keep going until the wheels fall off because I have nothing but this. I chose to have nothing else but this. Cody, you were the better man tonight. I got no excuses, you were. But, I’m not stopping. I’m gonna learn and move forward. That’s all I can do. Man, that’s it I’m gonna walk away, man. I’ll be back. I’ll be back.”

AEW broke the news on Friday afternoon that Eddie Kingston is now with All Elite Wrestling. The details of his contract were not disclosed, but Kingston will be a part of AEW moving forward.

This is a big deal for fans who pulled for Kingston for a long time. He also has some very good friends who are already on AEW’s roster including Santana and Ortiz who worked extensively with King in Impact Wrestling.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
