Opening Segment Revealed For WWE RAW Next Week

WWE has a lot of things in motion as they head toward SummerSlam. They already confirmed the opening segment for next week’s show and it could have implications for the biggest party of the summer.

Drew McIntyre’s WWE Title match is off next week. He will still wrestle Dolph Ziggler, but it will not be for title. The WWE Champion will still get to pick a stipulation and he could have a big surprise for the Show Off.

The company revealed that the opening segment next week will be Randy Orton addressing his next target. The Legend Killer is rumored to be in line for a WWE Title shot at SummerSlam. All signs point toward McIntyre vs Orton so The Viper could have a lot to say to the King Of Claymore Country.

Who will The Viper look to strike next? We’ll find out at the start of Raw this Monday night when Randy Orton kicks off the show by announcing his next target.

The Legend Killer has been on an absolute tear in recent weeks. First, he toppled Edge in The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever at WWE Backlash, then mercilessly took out Christian in an Unsanctioned Match the next night.

Randy Orton is also set to face Edge at WrestleMania. The future looks like it is already planned out for The Viper. The big question is whether a WWE Title run will be a part of that.

Drew McIntyre will certainly fight to keep his title. He hasn’t even been able to defend that title in front of live fans yet. We’ll have to see what happens as WWE gets more unpredictable by the day.
