Sammy Guevara returned to AEW this week, but when he got in the ring everyone thought it was Serpentico. When the Spanish God revealed himself under that mask it got a pop from the Internet Wrestling Community, but Serpentico’s real-life girlfriend Skyler Moore was a bit confused.
Serpentico is a real wrestler, in case you haven’t seen him he’s been lighting up AEW Dark as of late. Some fans just hadn’t seen Serpentico before which made this reveal so much better.
Skyler Moore tweeted out with a lot of surprise when she discovered that Sammy Guevara was wearing her boyfriend’s mask. She tweeted out a pretty hilarious musing on the situation.

She also used a “mind blown” emoji to set off her tweet. She might have been writing a totally different post about her boyfriend’s AEW Dynamite debut prior to Guevara’s reveal. Odds are he clued her in on the angle so she didn’t get too excited over the wrong man.
