Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas had a lot to say about this week and it was similar to his previous complaints. This time he received an unexpected offer in return.

Jimmy Korderas said that AEW needs to do a better job distracting their referees during matches. He praised Eddie Kingston and said that the powerbomb on the thumbtacks looked gruesome for Cody, and it was. That wasn’t a fake stunt as the American Nightmare really had those tacks pierce his back. Then Korderas wondered why every match after than had a powerbomb in it as well.

Korderas brought attention to Hangman Page vs the Dark Order’s V, but he accidentally called Hangman “Adam Cole.” He said that five shouldn’t have been the name of a wrestler, because it should have been “the number of seconds that match lasted.”

Korderas then got to the main event match where he questioned the double DDT spot. He said “none of this makes sense to me if you smell what the ref is cookin.'”

Chris Jericho saw this little critique of AEW Dynamite this week and he had an interesting offer for Korderas. “Sorry Jimmy. Please help me book my match next time,” was Jericho’s response.

Korderas could bring a different perspective to the table that AEW might need. Le Champion is famous for realizing ability and pulling strings to get people in a place that fits them best.
