WWE had to rip up the script for RAW this week because Vince McMahon called for changes. They taped two episodes for the red brand, but one big angle didn’t air this week as planned.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that there were plans for Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton to take an angle this week. That angle didn’t air on schedule.
“The big item on tonight’s show was originally to be an angle involving Orton and Drew McIntyre to set up their planned WWE Championship match as the main event for SummerSlam. As of this morning, that was still on the show. but numerous other items have been changed.”
It was noted that Dolph Ziggler coming down to set up a rematch for next week got in to way. Randy Orton was also busy with the Big Show in the main event. We’ll have to see how WWE books next week’s show because The Viper and King Of Claymore Country could still end up in a SummerSlam feud.
