Asuka Wants To Return To NXT To Face Top Superstar

RAW Women’s Champion Asuka is all set to face Sasha Banks on this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view. However, if she successfully defeats Banks, she will be ready to defend her title against her tag-team partner Kairi Sane.

While appearing on a video interview with Inside The Ropes, Asuka addressed the possibility of her revisiting NXT. The former NXT Champion revealed through her translator Funaki that she looks to go back to the black & yellow brand and face a number of Superstars.

She wants to be there. She wants to get many matches with NXT superstars. NXT equals Asuka, she will be there and she wants to be there.

Asuka then went on to reveal that she would love to face former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. The Empress of Tomorrow praised Ripley for being tough and said that they will have a match at some point in the future.

She is looking good. She looks tough, so she will and wants to face Rhea.

NXT’s expansion into Japan has been a topic of interest within the pro-wrestling community for a few years now. Asuka addressed this possibility and said that she will be happy to contribute to the brand and help build Superstars and even be a valet to them.

Yes! She will be there. She will be there and she will help them. She will be a valet, or in matches, it doesn’t matter she will be there.
