Matt Cardona Calls Out An Indy Promoter On Social Media

While he may have been a member of the WWE roster for longer than most of us can even remember, Matt Cardona fka Zack Ryder did spend some time on the independent scene prior to his recent release from the company.

Cardona, alongside Brian Myers fka Curt Hawkins, worked for a string of different promotions prior to being signed by WWE.

As it turns out, not all of them ran the smoothest of operations.

Yeah I remember you. You booked me & @Myers_Wrestling for an indy show in like 2004/2005 and just cancelled it without telling us.

There’s been a great deal of hype surrounding the future of Cardona now that he’s left WWE, and while nobody definitively knows what he’s going to do next, the popular opinion seems to be that he should make the jump over to All Elite Wrestling.

Whether he does or he doesn’t, you can bet he won’t find himself in the same situation that he did back in 2004.
