Mike Bennett Clarifies That WWE Did Not Help With Sending Him To Rehab Or Paying For It

Mike Bennett, known as Mike Kanellis during his time in WWE, has certainly been through a lot over the course of the last few years.

From his debut to going to rehab to fighting his way back onto WWE television, all the way through to him finally being released alongside his wife Maria back in April.

Now, on social media, Mike has taken the time to clarify a few things about that journey.

While Bennett is clearly grateful to WWE for keeping him employed, he’s made it clear that they did not pay for him to go to rehab. He instead chose to praise a few of his close friends within the WWE locker room that helped to keep him on the straight and narrow.

At this stage, fans are just excited to see what might be next for him on the independent scene.
