Cody Reflects On ‘Bittersweet’ Few Days After AEW Fyter Fest

Last night, Cody was able to successfully defend his TNT Championship in a solid match against Jake Hager.

While he did have some fortune in the way that he picked up the win, the fact that he got the job done was the most important thing.

Unfortunately, it was a bittersweet night that finished off a bittersweet few days for both Cody and his wife Brandi.

Colby Jack, one of their dogs, recently passed away, causing Brandi to miss night one of AEW Fyter Fest.

There’s been an outpouring of support from the AEW universe and beyond ever since, because as most of us know, losing a beloved pet is incredibly hard.
