AEW lost to NXT in viewership for the second week in a row this week, but they haven’t lost in the ratings. Chris Jericho wanted to make sure that everyone remembers just that is important.

You can check out the latest ratings here. AEW Dynamite did come out ahead, but some fans only care about the viewership numbers.

Chris Jericho tweeted out an explanation of how networks view those numbers. They’re only interested in the ratings which makes AEW the consistent winner.

Here’s a lesson about television ratings kids. Last night @AEWrestling was NUMBER 6 in the 18-49 demo. To tv networks & advertisers it’s the ONLY number that matters and we were up 31% in that area! So once again #AEWDynamite is the REAL winner in the Wed night ratings war!

AEW did lose to NXT in the viewership this week, and that’s obviously important. Jericho’s point is that the advertisers are still very happy with the audience that AEW Is bringing in. He also wanted to make it clear that AEW Dynamite is the “real winner” of the Wednesday Night Wars.
