What To Expect During Night One Of WWE NXT Great American Bash

WWE is bringing back the Great American Bash this week. This was quite a surprise as the company was able to counter program AEW Fyter Fest with one week’s notice.

The company has a few big matches in store for fans, but none of them are title matches. Next week will see NXT Champion Adam Cole vs NXT North American Champion Keith Lee in a winner takes all match.

This week will feature Sasha Banks’ return to NXT. She will take on Io Shirai in singles action. Dakota Kai vs Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae vs Tegan Nox will also take place with a #1 contender’s spot for the NXT Women’s Title on the line.

Roderick Strong will take on Dexter Lumis in a strap match. Oney Lorcan will also face Timothy Thatcher in singles action.

Rhea Ripley also has a lot on the line this week. She will face Aliyah and Robert Stone in a handicap match. If Ripley loses then she must join the Robert Stone Brand as his new client.
