AEW has QT Marshall’s gym in Norcross, Georgia that they can send stars who need a bit of polish. They even taped several weeks of Dynamite in that gym when they needed to get out of Florida for a while. QT Marshall doesn’t want it to become another Performance Center.

The gym has been dubbed “The Nightmare Factory,” but QT Marshall wanted to make it clear that he has no intentions of it becoming an AEW exclusive facility.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, QT Marshall explained that he doesn’t want to train only AEW wrestlers at his wrestling school. He wants to include anyone who wishes to learn about pro wrestling.

“I don’t think we’re gonna go there because I don’t wanna pigeon-hole all of the athletes because that cuts out half of the dream. We’ll see as I’m down for anything. But right now we’re training as many people as we can and a couple of our athletes have been picked up by AEW.”

“Luckily, the good part of what’s been going on in the world is that this has given lots of locals opportunities. The ones that I present are always gonna be the ones that check all of the boxes and do everything they’re asked to do.”

“I’ve got 60 students and they all want jobs. But I tell them this isn’t how it works and they shouldn’t get spoiled.”

AEW signed Anna Jay from QT Marshall’s gym and there could be many more. It’s not impossible to think that AEW will someday have something similar to the WWE Performance Center. That is obviously a long term plan that will take a lot of arranging.

Dustin Rhodes also recently revealed that he is in the beginning stages of opening his own pro wrestling school. We’ll have to see what he does with that idea as well.
