The COVID-19 virus has reached WWE’s doorsteps and this time, many have been affected. Some reports suggest that the actual number of positive cases in WWE is around the “two-dozen range”.

However, WWE doesn’t want its employees & Superstars to go public with their positive diagnosis. Those who did go public with this information, might not have made the executives very happy.

Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that although Vince McMahon has not publicly stated his thoughts about the pandemic, sources have told him that the CEO of WWE might not be taking it seriously.

Alvarez was told that McMahon doesn’t seem to think that the Coronavirus is “all that bad”

Vince McMahon has never said anything publicly about what he thinks about the coronavirus. He’s never said anything publicly … I have heard from multiple sources that Vince does not think that this is all that bad. I hesitate to even say that. I’m not sitting here saying that he outright thinks its a hoax or whatever.

Many people in America and other parts of the world have been believing that the COVID-19 virus is as harmful as a normal flu. Apparently, WWE CEO Vince McMahon also shares that mentality.

There’s a lot of people in this country that still believe, at worst, it’s a bad flu. The impression that I have been given from people within the company is that’s Vince’s mindset.

McMahon’s mindset will dictate the way the company functions in response to the pandemic. We hope that regardless of anyone’s personal views, the safety and the health of all performers and employees are taken care of.
