WWE taped their television shows for this week. The company filmed everything in a big block on Monday. They will do it all again on the next day, but they will film for next week’s programming. One segment that has yet to air caused Vince McMahon to leave his usual spot and come out to handle things personally.

Ringside News has learned that a segment during Friday Night SmackDown this week took a “long, long time” to complete. Finally, Vince McMahon came out to help personally produce the segment.

Our source in the company noted that this segment involved Jeff Hardy and Sheamus. There were no “problems” per se, but the process was taking a very long time. It got to a point where “Vince came out to help produce it personally.”

WWE is building toward Backlash for Jeff Hardy and Sheamus. They have a match on Sunday, but the go-home segment apparently took a long time to shoot.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
