Matt Riddle is now on SmackDown, but some thought he wasn’t welcome on the main roster. This isn’t the case at all.

Stories of Riddle’s backstage heat stemmed from Riddle having backstage run-ins with Brock Lesnar and Goldberg. Not everything floating around about the Original Bro is true.

Ringside News has learned that the backstage heat on Matt Riddle is “over exaggerated.” It was stated that Riddle “plays it up” so he can appear as “the underdog rebel.” This tactic works as he draws continued support.

Our source stated that Riddle “pissed off Brock Lesnar” and then Lesnar told him about it. A similar situation happened with Goldberg. Those two stories are true, but we were also told: “I’ve never heard of anyone saying ‘he can’t work the main roster.'”

It was also made clear to us that nobody has tried to get Matt Riddle fired and “he doesn’t have any political enemies” at this time backstage.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
