WWE Friday Night SmackDown brought a very interesting show that used a faked Jeff Hardy DUI arrest to capture interest. How did it do to keep viewers?

Showbuzz Daily reports that WWE Friday Night SmackDown scored an overnight average of 2.15 million viewers. This is up from last week’s number by a considerable amount.

The blue brand also scored a .7 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

Last week’s overnight average viewership was 2.039 million viewers. That was slightly down from the previous week’s average of 2.042 million viewers.

WWE later revealed how Jeff Hardy got out of jail in no time. It turns out he wasn’t drunk after all. Something foul is at play. It could have helped SmackDown’s ratings as well.
