Drew McIntyre has yet to hold the WWE Title in front of live fans at a WWE event. That day will hopefully come soon for the King Of Claymore Country. He escaped Money In The Bank as champion after a solid match against Seth Rollins. What’s next for McIntyre?

Bobby Lashley is being booked very strong right now. WWE needs top stars and a few big ones have suddenly left for one reason or another. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on WWE’s apparently next direction for the WWE Title.

“They really put Lashley over strong and I got the impression from watching it that McIntyre and Lashley is perhaps the next pay-per-view match.”

Bryan Alvarez then interjected that “they are absolutely going that direction.”

Backlash is June 14th, so WWE is certainly building toward that event. We’ll have to wait and see how the Scottish Psychopath handles his second challenger for the WWE Title.

Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank. SummerSlam is the company’s next Big 4 pay-per-view on August 23rd. McIntyre plans to make it to the biggest party of the summer as champion.
