AEW will return to live television next week. It is widely assumed that they will return to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. They realize the threats involved with running a show during a pandemic, and they are not taking any chances.

During the AEW Dynamite post-show, Taz, Excalibur, and Jim Ross revealed that AEW is making testing available for anyone who enters the property.

“I think as another precaution, we’re gonna be tested,” Jim Ross said. Excalibur expanded on AEW’s plan.

“On-site point of care testing for anybody who’s there that day. That was something that was insisted upon by our management team. If we are going to resume these things then we need to keep these things as safe as possible. I’m a bit of a germophobe so that went a long way to calming my nerves.”

WWE checks everyone’s temperature and asks them a series of questions concerning their recent activities. We’ll have to see if AEW’s testing procedure if any more strict than the one WWE uses. Jim Ross did not specify whether they will be receiving an actual COVID-19 test.

There is currently no instant test for COVID-19. That is one of the many things scientists are working on as they try to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus as society starts to re-open.
