WWE Friday Night SmackDown closed out with a big celebration for Triple H. He had some special guests FaceTime in, but the segment went way over the allotted time.

Fightful Select reports that the Triple H 25th Anniversary Celebration went “way over the planned time.” The segment was also pre-taped so they obviously made it work.
The Triple H 25th anniversary segment went way over the planned time for it on tonight’s show. Fortunately, that part was pre-taped. It was originally set to go about 10 minutes, but ended up going closer to 19-20 as they filmed it.
Vince McMahon came out and gave Triple H some lighthearted ribbing. Everyone seemed have a good time taking shots at the segment for being boring. Let’s see if the viewership agrees in the morning when overnight numbers come in.
