Heath Slater spent 16 years as a WWE Superstar. He was involved in plenty of angles, but he wasn’t utilized and spent a lot of time at catering. He’s got kids, but now his time with the company is over.

Slater tweeted out a message saying that he knows everyone is waiting to hear what he has to say. He will need a few more hours to really digest the fact that his career in WWE is over.

I know everyone is waiting to hear my response to my release from WWE but after 16 years I’m going to need a little more than a few hours to really digest all my thoughts and emotions. For now, thank you all for all of your kind words and support during this time.

Drake Maverick broke down and started crying when he spoke about his WWE release. This is a troubling and concerning time for a lot of people. The most we can do is remain positive and carry on.
