Vince McMahon decided that he didn’t like the way that WWE planned their television tapings. He changed things at the last minute and he wasn’t taking no for an answer.

It was previously noted that Vince McMahon changed WWE’s taping schedule to mandate live broadcasts. It was said that WWE is contracted to provide live television programming for their networks. WWE didn’t want to give any company the option to not pay them in full so the shows must be as live as possible.

Fightful Select reports that Vince McMahon was “very aggressive” about the changes to the television tapings. The message was sent that broadcasters pay for live content and WWE needed to give that to them.

Fightful was told that a “very aggressive” Vince McMahon made the decision that their broadcasters pay for live content, and many on the talent roster are unhappy about it. He was at the Friday SmackDown.

WWE will now record weekly until further notice. The company’s plan to lay down a month’s worth of television content won’t work in regards to their television deals.

This is a big change for the roster who are now forced to alter their travels plans to coordinate with Vince McMahon’s new schedule.
