WWE Changed Their Plans For Paige On SmackDown This Week

Paige appeared on SmackDown this week, but she wasn’t in the Performance Center. This was not the original plan.

PW Insider noted that Paige was set to be flown in for SmackDown this week. They decided to pre-record her segment and work it into the show instead.

Paige didn’t appear on the show last week, but she was promoted. It’s unclear why they decided to pull her from the show last week. She was on the show this week to reveal Bayley’s big WrestleMania match.

There was some hope that Paige might get cleared for return. Bayley mocked the fact that Paige can’t wrestle again during the segment this week. We’ll have to see if there is still anytime to that rumor.
