AEW and WWE NXT brought two very different shows to television this week. The coronavirus didn’t stop AEW from producing a live show in front of zero fans. WWE NXT ran a special retrospective, highlight and interview heavy episode.

Showbuzz Daily reports that AEW Dynamite brought in 932,000 on average for their two-hour program. They pulled a .35 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT brought in 542,000 with a .16 in the 18-49 demographic.

Last week AEW Dynamite won as well. There were also two live shows with live audiences. NXT was in the WWE Performance Center last week, but it had nothing to do with the coronavirus.

Dynamite pulled in 766,000 viewers with a .26 rating in the 18-49 demographic last week. WWE NXT drew an average of 697,000 with a .21 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
