Pro wrestling got hit hard during a very important time of the year. The coronavirus halted practically the entire indie wrestling scene. AEW and WWE are doing their best to carry on, but a lot of your favorite indie wrestlers won’t be getting paid during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Former WCW star Crowbar doesn’t wrestle very often anymore. He admitted that he doesn’t really take many bookings at this stage in his career. Then he continued to send a passionate message to fans during this time of uncertainty.

Many wrestlers won’t ask,
Many will make light of the situation + even joke about it.
But the current situation puts many wrestlers in a really tough spot.

If your a fan of Indy wrestling + able 2 work from home or B unaffected by these events please support ur Indy wrestlers.

In the video message, Crowbar concluded his statement by advising fans that indie wrestlers need them the most right now. If you can, please support indie wrestling because they won’t be able to work for the foreseeable future.

“Please support independent wrestling. The big guys will bounce right back. They have a fan base and a following […] support these great [indie wrestlers] by buying their merch and when the doors open again and it’s time to go, please support these great, great athletes. They do what they do for you. Wrestle, announce, whatever. They do it for you. Please support them.”

WWE and AEW are doing what they can to keep programming on the air. This will mean any live matches filmed will be done in front of zero fans.

There are no crowds permitted to gather so indie wrestling is at a stand-still. This is the best time possible to start supporting indie wrestling.
