The coronavirus hasn’t changed WWE’s plans yet. They are making Vince McMahon’s other company change up some things.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee has decreed that all gatherings within King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties over 250 are now prohibited. This includes any gathering including for spiritual, entertainment, or social activities. Football is included in that list.

Inslee stated in a public address that they want to get ahead of the situation. They cannot wait until Washington State is in the middle of things.

“This is an unprecedented public health situation and we can’t wait until we’re in the middle of it to slow it down. We’ve got to get ahead of the curve. One main defense is to reduce the interaction of people in our lives.”

The XFL released public message about the new order from the Washington Governor. The Seattle Dragon’s scheduled home game will take place this Sunday, but there will be no fans in the stadium.

Based on the proclamation issued Wednesday by Washington Governor Jay Inslee, the Seattle Dragons will host the LA Wildcats this Sunday, as scheduled. The game will take place at 4pm PT at CenturyLink Field without fans in the venue. The game will be broadcast live, also as scheduled, on ESPN2. – Jeffrey Pollack, XFL President & COO

This is a very interesting situation. We will keep you posted right here at Ringside News as more decisions regarding the coronavirus are made.

The city of Tampa has meeting on Thursday to decide whether they will ban large events from their city. Cases of the coronavirus have already started to appear there. That could drastically change WWE’s plans for WrestleMania.
