Chris Jericho Locks Down New Pro Wrestling Copyright

Chris Jericho has been around long enough to know that intellectual property is very important. If there is a phrase or name that anyone wants to use then they need to make sure that they are legally allowed to.

PW Insider reports that Chris Jericho has locked down “Painmaker Posse.” Now the Inner Circle can go by another name if they wish. That phrase was also on the back of the Inner Circle’s jackets on Dynamite last week.

The new trademark is registered for use in “Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests.” It’s unclear how much Jericho might want to use the name.

AEW sells a lot of merchandise and now they can sell some Painmaker Posse apparel.
