AEW Double Or Nothing is taking place on Memorial Day weekend. The event is not sold out and some blame was placed on Starrcast not returning to Las Vegas.

Cody Rhodes confirmed during his media teleconference that AEW is planning a lot for fans. The company is staying in Las Vegas until the next Wednesday for Dynamite.

Fightful Select was able to confirm that Starrcast has nothing to do with whatever AEW is planning for Double Or Nothing weekend. At this point, it sounds like AEW has plans, but they’re not releasing any more information.

As far as we’ve heard so far, the idea is to run panels, meet and greets, merchandise and the like.

Cody Rhodes said during his teleconference that he might make some people made by talking about their Las Vegas plans early. He probably mentioned this before anything was set in stone. At least they’re planning something for fans since Starrcast isn’t happening.
