Goldberg is set to face Bray Wyatt’s Fiend at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia. They spent over a year building up Wyatt and The Fiend has been running roughshod since SummerSlam. Vince McMahon could feed him to Goldberg after all.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Fiend’s match against Roman Reigns isn’t happening. The company has also changed their minds about John Cena vs Elias.

At this point, Meltzer explained that everything on SmackDown is up in the air in regards to WrestleMania 36.

He continued to say that the first thing he thought when hearing that they changed up WrestleMania’s card is that Goldberg is defeating The Fiend at Super ShowDown. The thinking is “what do you want to see more? The Fiend vs Roman Reigns or Goldberg vs Roman Reigns?”

WWE could always have Wyatt win in Saudi Arabia. He might need to turn babyface to have better opponent options.

This could be a very interesting idea. We previously reported via Dave Meltzer that Goldberg didn’t appear to be slated for WrestleMania. It turns out that WWE might have other plans especially if he walks into Tampa with the big blue belt.
