Sami Zayn leads Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring every Friday on SmackDown. There’s a reason why he’s just been talking and not wrestling much recently.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Sami Zayn hasn’t been wrestling because he’s hurt. His shoulder is apparently giving him problems once again.

Zayn is still bothered by his shoulder problems which is one of the key reasons he wrestles so little and is mostly in a manager role.

Sami Zayn’s last match was on January 19th at a WWE house show in Chattanooga, Tennessee when Braun Strowman & The New Day defeated Cesaro, Sami Zayn & Shinsuke Nakamura. Hopefully, Sami Zayn is able to heal up quickly since he just had double shoulder surgery in 2018.
