Bianca Belair Reveals How Much Notice WWE Gave Her Before Royal Rumble Match

Bianca Belair is set to take on Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Portland on February 16th. This big match follows an impressive performance in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

While speaking to After The Bell, The EST Of NXT explained that she didn’t get a lot of time to prepare for her big Royal Rumble opportunity.

“I found out… pretty much I was pulled aside at Worlds Collide and I found out that I was going to be a part of the Royal Rumble. So, the night before it was confirmed.”

Belair noted that “the night before is sometimes more advanced notice than we sometimes get.” WWE Superstars must roll with the punches and be available whenever WWE needs them. Obviously, Bianca Belair was more than ready considering how well she did in Houston.
