WWE NXT Superstar Debuts On RAW

Andrade is out of action because he failed a WWE Wellness Policy test. In storyline he’s recovering from a hammerlock DDT on the concrete. WWE figured out something to do in the meantime.

Angel Garza debuted on Raw this week alongside Zelina Vega. They had a segment with Humberto Carrillo in the ring. Garza and Carrillo are cousins so they used this in the angle.

Garza was announced as a former champion in NXT. He is a former Cruiserweight Champion. His finisher “The Wing Clipper” was announced on commentary twice as he executed it. Then he further destroyed Humberto Carrillo on the outside of the ring.

Rey Mysterio ran in for the save as Angel Garza was about to DDT Humberto Carrillo on the exposed concrete. This appears to be Angel Garza’s big opportunity on Raw.
